A careful selection of raw materials, our outstanding knowledge of materials and perfect control of the production process guarantee the stability and durability of your floor at all times.

It's your choice, 7 layers of UV-cured water based lacquer or quality oil, both give maximum protection and ensure easy maintenance. - 2. FACE LAYER
3mm solid wood layer for our QuickStep® Palazzo, Castello and Villa ranges or 2,5 mm for our Compact range. Find out more about the different wood species in our collection and the variations in design on page 8 - 9. - 3. CORE
It's the core of our engineered wood floors that ensure you have a durable floor. This layer is perfect in absorbing the stresses and strains, and ensures that our product remains stable in all conditions. For our QuickStep® Parquet Palazzo, Castello and Villa ranges, we use recycled rubber wood (also called Hevea). For our QuickStep® Compact range, we've used the High Density Fibre QuickStep® Master Core. - 4. BACKING
Ecological certified veneer. STABLE, HARD AND DURABLE WOOD - TIP
Our collections only contain varieties of wood with a high degree of hardness. The harder the variety, the more resistant your floor will be to impacts.

As soon as you have installed your Quick Step® wood floor, you'll be able to enjoy and use it. It's a considerable saving of time, money and effort.
Pre-finished
Unlike other wood floors, there's no post installation work to your Quick Step® flooring. That's because there's been protective layers of finishing applied before it left the factory. This means there's no sanding of the floor, no mess with dust, and no varnishing, oiling or painting at all.
Natural finish
Enjoy the strong natural look of a Quick Step® finished floor. You can choose a lacquer finish that is matt, silk or satin - or an oil treated floor which is new to our range.
Protective 7 Layers of Lacquer

Guide to Quick Step Wood
Wood Species
The wood species you choose determines the colour, surface texture and feel of your floor - and by consequence the whole atmosphere of your interior. In this collection, you can choose from several wood species.
Quick Step Wood Species
Oak has a yellow to brown colour, sometimes in contrast with pale sapwood. It shows a straight grain or a characterful flame pattern.
Ash planks have a white to pale yellow colour, it has a beautiful pattern with flames and straight grain.
Wood Grading
Each tree is unique, and different parts of the same tree produce different surface textures and appearances. We have a unique grading system that's easy to understand and transparent - the individual planks are sorted into 3 different categories.
Quick Step Wood Grading
Finesse is wood with little knots. Light variation in colour and structure.
Nature is wood with knots. Variation in colour and structure allowed.
Dimensions & Finish
Perfect Wood Floor
Walnut has a warm brown colour with a good visible dark straight or curling grain. The sapwood is whitish and that results in a lively floor.
Merbau varies widely from orange towards dark reddish brown and has a natural shine. It has a uniform structure.
Jatoba is a Brazilian wood species with a natural shine is reddish pink and brown, and sometimes has a straight black grain.
